About this role:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detailed‑oriented Account Manager to join our growing Account Management team. This is an entry‑level position ideal for someone eager to start a career in advertising and marketing. You’ll support Account Supervisors and Account Directors in day‑to‑day client operations, help keep projects on track, and collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and PM teams to deliver exceptional work. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their marketing skills and take advantage of the hands-on experience a small agency can provide.

Accountabilities and KPIs:

  • Support key Agency of Record clients and project-based clients; Manage work independently under supervision of Account Supervisor, ensuring on-time delivery while meeting or exceeding client expectations
  • Consistently delivers the day-to-day tasks required to support moving work through the agency 
  • Foster strong collaboration and trust with cross-functional teammates in order to support work seamlessly through the agency

  • 1-3 years of experience, including school and internship experience

Job Functions & Requirements:

1. Maintain the behind-the-scenes details that keep projects moving through the agency, such as:

  • Manage feedback and tasks within Tailfin’s internal workflow system
  • Keep all internal finance systems up to date and accurate
  • Manage billing schedules and ensure timely invoicing
  • Build and maintains specs sheets and deliverable matrixes, ensuring all specs are clear accurate 
  • Traffic creative work to media partners and other vendors 
  • Manage rights, usage, and licensing, and maintain inventory documents

2. Play a direct role in supporting the work, handling specific elements of large projects and taking complete ownership of smaller ones, such as:

  • Help review creative and strategic deliverables and provide feedback to internal teams 
  • Own status tracking across active projects, ensuring timelines, next steps, and dependencies are clearly documented and communicated 
  • Support client meetings by preparing meeting agendas, taking notes, and distributing recaps and action items to clients 
  • Intake client feedback and help translate it for an internal audience
  • Manage routing of deliverables for internal review and client approvals, ensuring version control and final asset accuracy
  • Track client budgets and help identify potential budget overages

3. Foster strong relationships within the agency across creative, strategy, project management and production counterparts

4. Understand the workflow process including resource management, timeline development, and project planning; partners well with a project-management counterpart

5. Support the agency at large including helping to coordinate agency-wide events, preparing the office for client meetings, and other admin tasks as needed

Hybrid Office

We believe there are real benefits that come both with in-person collaboration and heads-down, focused remote work. At Tailfin, we come into the office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Mondays and Fridays are more flexible.
